Applying Discount to the Total Amount Due
System allows users to apply a discount to the total amount due.
- When applying a discount product code to a tangible item or kit of goods, it is necessary to use a
product code with the product group specified as "Discount (Item /KIT)". If a discount is applied to
a service product, it is necessary to use a product code with the product group specified as
"Discount (Service)"
- Inaccurate application of discount category will affect the accounting process.
- User should use an item code / product code which is categorized as discount. This is configured
in Product Page where product group is Discount.
- User can utilize the product search page to determine which type of discount to apply.
- It is preferable to place the discount product code as the last / final item.
